Applied Behavioral Scientist

Responsibilities
 

  • Identify needs: Understand the needs of healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders, define desired behavioral outcomes, identify what motivates and influences patient behavior, and translate those insights into program and intervention design.

  • Developing Behavioral-strategy and interventions: Figuring out what “works” and “worth doing”- Translate behavioral product strategy into detailed features and requirements, lead behavior-centered approach to projects including usability improvements, brand new experiences, understanding human motivations and limitations, and measuring behavior change.

  • Analyzing data: Collect, prioritize, and identify data-driven behavior trends and patterns, analyze data using mixed methods, monitor the lifecycle of projects from vision and planning to design impact, and monitor key performance metrics.

  • Collaborating with organizational stakeholders: Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop patient-centered approaches and improve performance. This includes working closely with an inner team of clinicians, product managers, developers, and analysts, and collaborating with academic and industry partners to promote knowledge exchange and best practices.

 

Qualifications
 

  • MA/MSc or above with academic excellence in social psychology or a similar field

  • At least five years of proven experience in leading behavioral interventions and programs

  • Ability to independently acquire in-depth expertise in new, complex healthcare, and health behavior topics

  • High proficiency in Hebrew and English languages, including excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to simplify complex ideas in a clear and concise way, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Coding capabilities- including SQL (required) and Python/R (preferred)

  • Experience in building and conducting PRDs - an advantage.
