Rivka Innovation Center
The innovation center at Beit Rivka is one of the first Clalit Health centers
specializing in advancing innovation for the for elderly patients. This center
was established as part of an organizational concept aiming to promote
initiatives that "Redesign the Time and Place boundaries in geriatric
rehabilitation", given the challenges of the elderly population growth on one
hand and a shortage of personnel and necessary therapeutic resources on
the other hand.
Within our activity, we place special emphasis on developing an
intraorganizational community of entrepreneurs and investing resources in
raising a new generation of innovators. At the same time, we cooperate with
the age tech ecosystem, leading academic institutes, government ministries,
civil society organizations, technology-based startup companies and
entrepreneurs at the nascent stage of their careers.
The innovation center’s fields of focus include: technologies and models for
tele-geriatrics and tele-rehabilitation, robotics, tools for diversifying and
improving quality of rehabilitation, virtual reality, research and development
related to medical diagnosis and tools for improving patient experience and
prevention of staff burnout, academic research and teaching in the center’s
fields of occupation.

Clalit Innovation Network
Clalit's innovation network includes twelve innovation centers, spread in our hospitals and the community. Each of these innovation centers has a unique purpose and characteristic, which is derived from its unique population, its geographical location, and the centers of excellence in the hospital or district, among other factors.
The challenges and areas of practice of the centers are based on real-life needs that clinicians, therapists, and other employees encounter every day.
Clalit's innovation centers share their accumulated knowledge and projects, whether they are cross-organizational or cross-clinical.
